Book a 7 Days Uganda safari to explore primates and wildlife in the Pearl of Africa with Lets Go Tours Rwanda. The 7 Days trip include rhino tracking experience at Zziwa rhino sanctuary the only place to see these endangered animals in the whole of Uganda. You will also visit Kibale Forest National Park the primate capital of Africa for a lifetime chimpanzee trekking experience. Besides chimpanzees, Kibale Forest National Park is home to other 12 primates such a the Blue Monkeys, Vervet Monkeys, Red tailed Colobus, Grey Cheeked Colubus, Baboons, LHoest Monkeys, Black and White colobus monkeys among others. You will also visit Bigodi wetland sanctuary home for birds and primates. Go for a second chimpanzee trekking experience in Kaliznu forest which is part of the famous Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s second largest park. Lets Go Tours Rwanda will further take you to Bwindi Forest National Park for gorilla trekking. Spend an hour with of of the 17 habituated gorilla families in Bwindi Forest. Gorilla tracking is Bwindi is done in any of the four regions Buhoma in the North, Ruhija in the East, Nkuringo and Rushaga region in the south of the park. You may encounter other wild animals such as Forest elephants, Colobus monkeys and African buffaloes on your trek for gorillas in Bwindi Forest. The trek starts and ends in Kampala/Entebbe.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: White Water Rafting and Return to Kampala

7 Days Uganda safariEarly morning (5:30am), following your breakfast, you will be picked up by our company representative for a transfer to Jinja. En route take in the beautiful views of the country side, have a stopover at the Sezibwa Falls / engage in a Mabira Forest Walk before continuing with your drive to The Nile Source, take in its beauty and proceed to Bujagali Falls by 8:00 am for the white water rafting briefing and experience as well as other activities like Bungee jumping, squad biking among others.

Please Note: It doesn’t require experience to be a part of this activity and during the briefing, you are also provided with all the necessary rafting gear and also decide on which grade you wish to raft.
There are 8 established grades with the first rapids less challenging and good for the light hearted souls for those interested in grade challenges can even opt for the 8th grade rapid; no matter the grade, they are all very adventurous experiences.

Have lunch after rafting and later set off for your return trip to Kampala.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest NP

Have breakfast and get ready for your transfer to Kibale Forest NP; driving West wards ,enjoy the wonderful views of the country side and Rwenzori ranges, en route stop over at Tooro Palace etc. Upon arrival, take a stride to the beautiful crater lakes region. Dinner and over night at Kyaninga Lodge (Luxury), Primates Lodge Kibale (Midrange) and Kibale Guest Camp (Budget)

Day 3: Chimps Tracking and Bigodi Community Visit

7 Days Uganda safariHave breakfast and assemble at Kanyanchu park offices for briefing on chimpanzee tracking exercise before embarking on this wonderful activity. Once found, you will enjoy an hour in their vicinity, observing their behavior while taking photographs and making videos for your memorable experience. Later, in the afternoon, step out for a visit to the Bigodi Sanctuary where you will be rewarded with several bird species inclusive of those endermic to the Albertine Rift. Dinner and over night at Kyaninga Lodge (Luxury), Primates Lodge Kibale (Midrange) and Kibale Guest Camp(Budget)

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP

7 Days Uganda safariAfter morning breakfast, you will set off for a 3 hours’ drive to Queen Elizabeth NP. Upon arrival, have lunch and proceed with an amazing 2 Hours’ Launch Cruise on the Kazinga Channel where you will be rewarded with clear views of hippos, crocodiles, several bird species, elephants as they all bath in the afternoon sunshine and later have a wonderful evening game drive through the savannah grasslands . Dinner and over night at Enganzi Safari Lodge / Simba Safari Lodge(Budget), Elephant Safari Lodge(Midrange), Mweya Safari Lodge( Luxury).

Day 5: Kalinzu Chimps Tracking and Transfer to Bwindi NP

Following your breakfast, embark on an amazing hunt for the chimpanzees through Kalinzu forest ; rewarding you with wonderful views of the Escarpment, Mt Rwenzori and several wildlife species, return midmorning to your lodge and get ready for a transfer to Bwindi Forest NP driving via Ishasha sector for the tree climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at Bwindi Jungle (Budget / Midrange,), Chameleon Hill / Mahogany springs (luxury).

Day 6: Mountain Gorilla Trek and Batwa Pygmies

7 Days Uganda SafariRise early, enjoy your breakfast and assemble at the park offices for morning briefing on the trekking guidelines before embarking on this wonderful expedition through the thick dense canopy forest of Bwindi. Usually, it takes about 30 minutes to several hours to encounter the mountain gorillas; but once got, enjoy an hour with them before retrieving to the starting point (for Certificates of Participation) before retrieving your lodge. Later in the afternoon, head out for the Batwa pgymies tour for a clearer understanding of their culture. Dinner and overnight at Bwindi Jungle (Budget / Midrange,), Chameleon Hill / Mahogany springs (luxury).

Day 7: Departure

Have breakfast at leisure and Proceed with your drive to Kampala and with an early arrival, you may engage in a City Tour; visiting to Buganda Kingdom Palace, Kasubi Tombs, Namugongo Martyrs Shrine and many other exceptional tourist centers within the city before drop off at either a hotel or airport for departure flight.
