Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Day trip to Serengeti National Park
On this day, you will head out to the country’s most popular safari destination found in the popular Northern circuit. As you drive along the tarred and dirt roads, you will get soaked in the magnificent views of the Great Rift Valley, sweeping savannah grasslands and escarpments as you continue on this 6-7 hours journey. The sights of zebras, Cape buffaloes, bushbucks, lions, African bush elephants, leopards, Cape buffaloes, wildebeests, Defassa waterbucks, Topis, warthogs and impalas are a signal of arriving Serengeti National Park.
Overnight at;
• Four Seasons Safari Lodge or Serengeti Bushtops Luxury Camp (upmarket).
• Serengeti Bush Camp or Serengeti Sopa Lodge (moderate).
• Serengeti Simba Lodge or Zawadi Camp (basic).
Meals: Lunch and Dinner.
Journey time: 6-7 hours.

Day 2: Game viewing experience through Serengeti National Park
5 Days Serengeto & Ngorongoro Conservation AreaToday, the driver will brief you at the Safari Lodge or Camp after your hearty breakfast. Leave for the guided game drive aboard a 4X4 safari vehicle there you will go through the Park’s wildlife hot spots where Defassa waterbucks, leopards, East African wild cats, warthogs, stripped and spotted hyenas, Black Rhinoceros, side-stripped and black-backed jackals, mongoose, cheetahs, wildebeests, African golden wolves, Kobs, Caracals, Topis, genets, zebras, lions are most likely to be encountered.
During this guided game drive, you could be lucky to witness the great annual migration involving 1.5 million wildebeests, zebras and gazelles from this Protected Area to Masai Mara National Reserve in neighboring Kenya. At this point, keep your cameras rolling to see the River crossing at Grumeti.
Book for the morning and afternoon game drive with picnic lunch and later in the evening be driven to Masai pastoralist village to have an insight into their unique cultures and traditions before settling for a hot dinner and rest.

Day 3: Day trip to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Start the day early with breakfast before enjoying the last game drive within Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. Here, you will come across Defassa waterbucks, gazelles, buffaloes, African bush elephants, Grant’s zebras, wildebeests, Olive baboons, lions, leopards, mongoose, Masai giraffes, duikers, cheetahs, Topis, impalas, Kongoni, Masai giraffes, blue monkeys and so much more. Your driver will then take you to the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will arrive in the afternoon for lunch.

Day 4: Game viewing experience through Ngorongoro Conservation Area

5 Days Serengeti & Ngorongoro Conservation AreaThis morning, your private safari driver will take you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area game viewing experience that leads to the Crater floor. Having a Park Ranger onboard will make it more exciting and rewarding to get to wildlife hot spots, learning unique animal behavior and for this all-day game drive, expect more than just animals. The Crater floor is filled to the brim with spotted hyenas, zebras, African bush elephants, gazelles, Hippos, Cape buffaloes, Defassa waterbucks, Kobs, jackals, spotted hyenas, lions, cheetahs, Masai giraffes, Rhinos, Hippos, to mention but a few. The drive goes on until evening, hence leave the Lodge/Camp with packed lunch, which will be enjoyed at one of the picnic sites.

Day 5: Depart Arusha
Today, it’s time to say Kwaheri to Tanzania. The day begins with a cup of tea and freshly-squeezed juice before enjoying your last game drive through Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Occasional stops will be made along the way for proper viewing as well as photography as different bird species like the Augur Buzzard, Rufous-tailed weavers, Black-headed herons, lesser flamingos and others will be seen flying.
