Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Ruhengeri
On arrival at the Kigali Airport, you will be met and greeted by our safari guide then be transferred to Volcanoes National Park after lunch. The journey to the North goes through the beautiful terraced hillsides that display Rwanda’s landscape. Dinner and Overnight at the lodge

Day 2 and 3: Gorilla trekking
Have an early morning breakfast and drive to the park headquarters of Parc National des Volcans. After a briefing you will start the gorilla trekking through the light mountain forest on the slopes of the Virunga. Tracking gorillas may take 1-8 hours. Stay with the Gorillas for one hour and be back at the base in time for a late lunch. You may have an optional ibyiwacu community walk OR a relaxation at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 4: Golden monkey tracking
After breakfast, you will go for golden monkey tracking. After lunch, you will have an optional community walk. Dinner and Overnight at the Lodge

Day 5: Departure
Breakfast and then depart for Kigali and carry out a city tour including the market visits, handicraft shop visits, pottery projects, genocide museum visit and many others. Transfer to Kigali Airport to find your departure flight.
